Who We Are

Letizia Abruzzini-Hughes founded A&H Private Luxury Travel in 2010. Born and raised in Florence, Italy, Letizia studied Political Science before obtaining an MBA in Marketing and Finance at the University of Bologna. She has served as a Marketing consultant for several European firms and for the past fourteen years has worked in the field of luxury travel. She recently obtained her Chef’s Diploma from the Institute of Culinary Education in New York City.

Tod Hughes grew up in New Jersey and obtained a history degree at the University of North Carolina and an MBA from the University of South Carolina. His banking career led him to New York, Philadelphia, Chicago and Kansas City. His love of travel has taken him throughout Europe, as well as the U.S.A., Canada, the Caribbean, Australia, Africa, South America and Asia. He married Letizia in 2015 and assists her with development of her culinary programs while taking wine classes to learn the best mealtime accompaniments. His love of history, art and language drive his delight in sharing suggestions on the best cultural and historical experiences and events for our clients.
